Born in Madrid in 1958.

Ana Guerrero studied painting at:

  • Marta Ratti Painting Workshop, 1999–2003 and 2009–2012
  • Life Drawing Workshop with Álvaro Selles, 2006–2008
  • With painter Manuel Azcona, 2004–2005

"What I’m passionate about in painting is that it activates my creative capacity.

I discover a new way to connect with myself—to express my inner world through a personal and intuitive language. My painting follows a thread, a center, a refuge that expands by crossing boundaries in search of stillness and silence.

I feel free when I let myself go, with loose brushstrokes over diluted backgrounds, where oil paint plays with its rich textures, subtle nuances, and an endless palette of colors.

Some series have emerged from inner sensations; others, from my love of nature—drawing inspiration from the microcosm of a flower or the macrocosm of the planets. Always in search of a sheltered space where I can delve into what is intimate and essential.”

Her works are in private collections in the USA, Singapore, and Spain.
