Description

"A11 Space" is part of Annabel Andrews’ ongoing A Space series, an exclusive fine art print collection available only at And-Art Works.

In this series, Andrews explores one of art’s most elusive concepts — the construction of space on a flat surface. Through abstraction, geometry, and the subtle dialogue of color and form, she invites the viewer into a contemplative world where simplicity becomes profound.

In A11 Space, Andrews works with a horizontal composition that feels open, balanced, and architectural. A restrained palette of black, white, grey, and beige defines a landscape of curves and straight lines that intersect, overlap, and unfold across the plane. The result is a sense of movement within stillness, as if the forms were quietly shifting within their own gravity.

What appears minimal is, in truth, deeply complex. Each line and shape has intention — every intersection breathes, creating a rhythm of tension and harmony. Andrews achieves a rare elegance in this work: the purity of form and color that only comes from mastery.

A11 Space is not merely an abstract composition — it is an inquiry into how space, balance, and silence can coexist in visual harmony.

Printed as a museum-quality fine art giclée on Hahnemühle paper, this piece preserves the original’s depth, texture, and tonal precision. Perfect for modern interiors, minimalist design spaces, and collectors who appreciate contemporary abstract art, A11 Space exemplifies Annabel Andrews’ refined search for simplicity — the hardest perfection to achieve in art.

"On beginning to wonder why art has been important to me through so many years, and knowing that vitality dies with an excess of reason, I could talk about the balance between instinct and reason, and how to express myself technically with materials and colour through spontaneous intuition -with an aesthetic feeling - for a cluster of forms and colors arranged to stir the reader in a way that music does.

In an outer world of chaos : abstract painting can appeal to our senses to find psychic equilibrium."
